The All-On-4 Pro treatment approach is a prosthodontic operation (i.e., tooth replacement) that offers screw-retained bridge or denture to replace the whole upper and/or lower set of teeth permanently on the same day. The ideal candidates for the operation are those who have considerable tooth loss or decay, as well as those whose jaw bone loss makes it impossible for them to receive dental implants that are normally orientated (vertically). Loss of the jaw bone frequently occurs along with tooth loss, creating the challenge of rebuilding the jaw bone with bone grafting. By positioning the two posterior implants at an angle to avoid the nerve canal in the lower jaw and the sinus cavities in the upper jaw, the All-On-4 Pro approach takes advantage of the dense bone that still exists in the front portion of the jaws and enable in providing ‘Immediate Permanent Teeth’.

For the best assessment of the bone, a cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan is recommended. The All-On-4 Pro approach calls for the implantation of four implants total in the jaw. Usually, the back implants are tilted from the occlusion (biting plane) by between thirty and forty-five degrees. The implant is positioned in front of the mandible, or lower jaw, and the maxilla, or upper jaw, in front of the mental nerve. About the position of the second premolar, the implant head appears. This will enable the posterior cantilever of a molar tooth, resulting in a denture or bridge with about twelve teeth.
