The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was formed primarily to promote the export & development of scheduled agricultural products. Any products specified under the APEDA ACT are called scheduled products.
For any person or organization to export these scheduled products, they mandatorily need to register themselves with APEDA. It is a one time registration. The registered members are governed by the rules & regulations of the act. Also members don’t just get financial assistance, but various other government schemes and trainings for the development of agricultural export.
